A Broken iPad, $150, and a Facebook Targeting “Secret”

Untitled design (80)

It’s a BOOMING business that no one is talking about…

Cracked iPads (…and iPhones too).

If you have young kids, you know what I’m talking about.

Even if you don’t, you see it all around.

Kids playing with their parents Apple devices.

Dropping them to the ground.

Cracking their screens.

It happened to me recently.

So I took my iPad in and got it fixed.

The bill?

150 bucks!

After paying, I started talking to the owner of the store.

“Do you’ll advertise?”

Her: “Yes, we do some commercials and have some signs around town.”

I INSTANTLY started thinking of how this business would benefit from FB advertising.

It’s easy…

Target parents of young children (Facebook has this as a targeting category).

Then combine that with people who like iPads or iPhones.

And if you wanted to take it a step further, you could setup your ads to ONLY target people who are browsing Facebook on an iPad or iPhone.

This literally went through my mind in a 10 second span.

I told this to the owner, but she seemed really confused and thought Facebook was just for “connecting with family and friends.”

It’s amazing…

A business like this could probably DOUBLE their revenue in a month by using the strategy I listed above and targeting people within their zip code.

A Facebook ad with an image of a child dropping an iPad…

Ad copy with something like, “Cracked iPad? Bring it to Us and We’ll Fix it In 60 Minutes or Less.”

The possibilities are endless…

What about YOU?

Are YOU taking full advantage of Facebook advertising?
